Description
Our natural geranium wax for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Geranium macrorrhizum. Outside the country, the product is offered under the name Geranium natural wax for aromatherapy. The plant is perennial and rhizomatous, belongs to the Geraniaceae family and occupies rocky places in the mountains of the Balkan Peninsula and their adjacent slopes. The family unites herbaceous species with aromatic leaves, and in this species the fragrance is concentrated precisely in the leaf mass of the plant itself. The leaves provide the raw material, while the plantations in Bulgaria develop under a natural regime without synthetic auxiliary agents throughout the entire season. The natural regime is reflected in the sensory characteristics, and the first of them is the pale yellow to light greenish tone. The tone comes from the leaves, whose green pigments pass into the wax mass during extraction. The mass remains solid, dense and uniform throughout its entire thickness. The density retains the volatile substances, which carry a strong fragrance with a sweet and fresh base and a clearly perceptible citrus nuance at its very end. The fragrance comes only from the plant tissue, as the composition remains entirely natural. Preservatives and colorants have no place in it, so the greenish shade depends solely on the leaf raw material. Natural cultivation maintains this purity and does not allow external substances to reach the plants throughout their growth. Wax extraction complements the purity, and the sweet and citrus character of the fragrance passes into the finished material without any change in its character. In addition, all the raw material comes from shared plantations, which brings the tone, scent and density closer together in each individual quantity. Geranium wax gathers these characteristics in a compact body. The compact body carries a high concentration of volatile components in a small volume.

Application
Geranium wax is used primarily in the making of aromatic and massage candles, to which it gives a fresh floral and herbal character, as well as in perfume candles and compositions with pronounced floral depth. It is used in the creation of hand, face and eye contour creams, nourishing lotions and body balms, foot creams and ointments for delicate skin prone to dryness. It is suitable for lip balms, herbal pomades and face masks with a fresh fragrance, as well as for massage oils, creams and lotions that nourish and soften the skin. It is incorporated into natural soaps, deodorants and bath salts, perfume oils and handmade cosmetic products with a fresh herbal profile. The aroma also finds a place in inhalation blends, diffuser and calming sleep compositions, essential blends for aroma lamps and aroma diffusers, as well as in candles for meditation and a calmer atmosphere. With its soft floral nuance, the wax is also suitable for aromatherapy products aimed at relaxation and inner harmony.

Storage

Store natural geranium wax in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +10°C to +25°C to preserve the solid consistency and quality. After opening, limit air access and isolate the product from external odors, which the wax readily absorbs. Use only aluminum or glass containers, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the wax from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
