Description
We offer natural geranium concrete for cosmetics, obtained from the species Geranium Macrorrhizum. The product is known as Geranium natural concrete for cosmetics. The species belongs to the family Geraniaceae, develops as a perennial herbaceous plant and occupies rocky terrain on the shady slopes of Central and Southeastern Europe. Its natural distribution extends east to the western parts of Turkey, and the raw material for our product originates entirely from the Bulgarian habitats of the species. The rhizome of the plant is thick and fleshy and develops close to the soil surface. The aromatic substances that later determine the character of the finished concrete gradually accumulate in it. The product is obtained from the rhizome through extraction, so the olfactory profile remains pure and the volatile constituents retain the fullness with which they come from the raw material. The olfactory profile is floral and fresh, and the green notes go together with a perceptible trace of rose. The green side of the profile shows at medium to strong intensity. The intensity goes together with the waxy character of the mass and with a solid to semi-solid structure. The waxy mass takes on a light yellow to pale greenish colour, since the raw material comes from the underground part of the plant. The colour and olfactory profile outline the sensory picture, which ranks among the advantages of the offered concrete alongside the clear geographical origin of the raw material. The advantages also include the affiliation of the source material with a precisely defined botanical species. The affiliation with the species provides the basis for a composition that contains no preservatives and lacks colourants. The composition remains entirely plant-based, because the plant is cultivated naturally.

Application
Geranium concrete finds application in the cosmetic industry as an aromatic and functional ingredient in a wide range of skin and body care products. It is suitable for inclusion in face creams with a moisturising and nourishing action, intended for day and night use. It is used in body lotions with a softening and smoothing effect, as well as in serums with a concentrated herbal formula for visible care of mature skin. The product is suitable for face masks with a revitalising action, hand creams with a long-lasting effect and lip balms with a delicate aroma and a protective function. It is applied in eye contour creams, in the formulation of after-sun lotions with a soothing effect and in massage creams for restoring skin tone. The concrete enriches face gels with a refreshing profile, night creams with a regenerating function, detergents for sensitive skin, as well as specialised products for dry or irritated skin. Thanks to its waxy consistency and persistent floral aroma with notes of greenery and rose, it integrates well into cream, gel and balm bases, giving the finished product naturalness, quality and a characteristic floral signature.

Storage

Store natural geranium concrete in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit air access, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry container. Use only aluminium or glass containers, preferably dark glass, which protects the product from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
