We present organic fennel seed essential oil for detergents, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Foeniculum vulgare. The product bears the name Fennel Seed organic essential oil for detergents in international practice. The aromatic profile combines freshness and slight sweetness on a warm base, while remaining gentle in strength. The warm base accompanies the liquid consistency, which appears clear and mobile. The colour of the liquid is faintly greenish or yellowish, because the only carriers of the pigment are the dry seeds of the ripe fruits from the Bulgarian crops. The colour and the gentle strength of the scent go hand in hand with the purity that steam distillation transfers in full from the Bulgarian harvest into the finished liquid. Distillation separates the volatile part of the seeds, so the olfactory characteristic remains true to the raw material. The raw material is collected in crops in Bulgaria, where the perennial herbaceous crop finds a temperate climate. The crop belongs to the Apiales family, and its natural range in the wild covers the Mediterranean and parts of temperate Asia and Northeast Africa. In this family, the fruit glands concentrate the largest part of the essential oil, which is also where the ripe seeds for the extraction come from. Storage
