Description
Our natural fennel seed essential oil for perfumery is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Foeniculum vulgare. The product is offered under the name Fennel Seed natural essential oil for perfumery. The oil contains only the volatile fraction separated from the ripe seeds. The volatile fraction remains entirely natural, since the crops are cultivated on Bulgarian fields in the complete absence of synthetic auxiliary substances. Natural cultivation keeps the composition pure, and there are no preservatives and colourants in the liquid. Bulgaria provides all of the raw material, and botanists assign its plant to the Apiales family. The Apiales include anise, cumin and dill, and botanical science identifies the ripe fruits of these crops as the main reservoir of the essential fraction. The ripe seeds undergo steam distillation, which is why the volatile constituents remain intact and the fragrance acquires a distinct purity and a clearly defined character. Distillation leaves the liquid clear and fluid. The fluid liquid shows a faint greenish or yellowish sheen, which comes from the husk of the seeds themselves. The sheen goes hand in hand with an aromatic profile of gentle strength. The aroma combines freshness, light sweetness and warmth, and researchers attribute the sweet side to anethole among the leading volatile constituents of the species. The advantages of the product grow from the Bulgarian origin of the crops and from the gentle extraction of the volatile fraction. In addition, the oil retains uniformity throughout its entire volume. Fennel leaves a distinct spicy imprint in the composition, derived from the essential fraction of the ripe fruit.

Application
Natural fennel seed essential oil is incorporated in perfumery as an aromatic ingredient that forms part of the composition of perfumes and eaux de toilette. Eaux de toilette and perfumes introduce the raw material as a distinct note. As a distinct note, the oil ranks among the established raw materials for composing fragrances. The note takes part in fougère accords, which hold a lasting place in the classic palette of this field. The palette distinguishes fougère as an independent olfactory family in the classification of perfumes. Fougère accords receive from the raw material a fresh and slightly sweet scent with a warm side, which is why the ingredient supports the overall character of the entire composition. In the formulations of these accords, the scent combines with bergamot, orange and lavender essential oils. In addition, the raw material is also used in scented body products, which often accompany the main fragrance as part of one common line. More precisely, scented body lotions and creams include fennel seed oil as an aromatic ingredient that carries the same note into a product with an emulsion base.

Storage

Store natural fennel seed essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
