Description

Our natural coriander seed hydrolate for aromatherapy is based on a plant with the botanical name Coriandrum Sativum L, originating from Bulgaria. In international practice, the distillate is designated as Coriander Seed Natural Hydrolat. The plant belongs to the Apiaceae family and forms small flowers gathered in compound umbels. The seeds are used for extraction; botanically, they are a dry schizocarp with longitudinal ribs, as the fruits of this species remain almost spherical and retain their volatile part. Steam distillation yields the finished liquid. The steam determines the purity of the scent, and therefore the distillate reaches its finished form without foreign aromatic traces. The strength of the scent stays within mild limits. The sweet and spicy sides combine with a herbal note that comes from the volatile fraction of the fruit. The leading component in this fraction is linalool, accompanied by pinene and terpinene. The color ranges from colorless to slightly yellowish, and this shade is due to the seeds. The clear liquid remains uniform throughout its mass. The plants are grown naturally, which is why the composition remains pure and contains neither preservatives nor industrial colorants. In addition, the raw material comes from Bulgarian plantations, which provide uniform botanical material and do not allow mixing with foreign sources. Inside the pericarp, the volatile substances accumulate in schizogenous canals characteristic of the umbellifers, which explains the mild scent of the finished distillate and its moderate strength. It is the seeds that carry the characteristic profile of the species. Coriander remains the basis of this distillate, and the end result is a clear liquid with a mild aroma and a clearly expressed sweet-spicy direction.

Storage

Store natural coriander seed hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 to 12 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the aromatherapy hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
