Description

We present organic coriander leaf hydrolate for perfumery, and the raw material comes from the species Coriandrum sativum. The distillate is known as Coriander Leaf organic hydrolate for perfumery. The scent combines a sweet, spicy and herbal direction in a common aromatic progression. The soft strength of the aroma keeps the three directions close to one another and does not allow any of them to come forward in the overall profile. The product comes from steam distillation, which admits only a limited range of volatile compounds into the aqueous phase and retains the heavy parts in the raw material. The aroma of the leaf raw material is based on aliphatic aldehydes and alcohols, and not on the linalool profile characteristic of the fruit of the plant. The material used is limited to the leaves of the plant. The Apiaceae family unites the species with the other herbaceous umbelliferous plants, in which the leaf mass is divided into narrow segments. The raw material is harvested from plantations on Bulgarian land. The organic cultivation regime covers the entire growth period of the crops, so no preservatives, colorants or foreign additives enter the finished liquid. The color lies between colorless and slightly yellowish. The leaf origin explains the light tone, as the green mass does not introduce strong pigments into the aqueous phase. In addition, the product remains liquid and uniform throughout its entire mass up to its finished form. The oil ducts of umbellifers run through the leaves and stems, which is why the green mass carries enough aromatic substances for extraction with steam. The aromatic signature of coriander remains sweet, spicy and soft to the very end of the profile.

Storage

Store organic coriander leaf hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the perfumery hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
