Description
We offer organic mountain chamomile essential oil for perfumery, obtained from the plant Matricaria chamomilla. In international trade, the oil is known as Chamomile Wild organic essential oil for perfumery. The oil develops a rich scent in which the fresh note predominates, while the light spicy nuance complements the warm base. A scent of such strength is carried by a liquid consistency whose tone shifts smoothly from pale blue to greyish green in different parts of the volume. The tone is due to chamazulene, which forms from the matricine in the flowers during extraction and gives a bluish tint to the entire resulting liquid. The bluish tint is easy to distinguish when examined in daylight. The flowers are harvested in Bulgaria, where the plantations are managed organically. The plantations occupy open fields in the country, and the plant growing in them belongs to the Asteraceae family. The members of this family develop their volatile constituents in the flower heads. The flower heads yield a composition of entirely organic origin, in which added preservatives and colourants are completely absent. Their absence results from the organic cultivation method, in which no synthetic auxiliaries reach the plantations throughout the entire vegetation period. Steam distillation transfers the volatile constituents into the liquid, so the olfactory profile remains pure and true to the character of the flowers used. The purity of the profile is combined with the rich intensity of the scent, which is evident throughout the resulting liquid. Moreover, the product retains an expressive olfactory character suitable for perfumery. The liquid consistency of the product remains uniform throughout its entire volume.

Application
Organic mountain chamomile essential oil is used in perfumery, where it contributes to fresh, floral and slightly bitter herbal accords. It is incorporated into women's fragrances with a floral-fresh note, into unisex compositions with a calm herbal profile, as well as into men's perfumes with floral elements and freshness. It is used in eaux de toilette with a purifying herbal heart, in perfume oils and aromatic oils for building multi-layered, balanced and long-lasting compositions, as well as in base notes for slightly sweet and floral blends. The oil finds a place in niche fragrances with herbal notes, in refined and delicate compositions, in fresh spring and summer blends, as well as in evening fragrances with soothing and elegant nuances. It is used to accentuate floral accords with warm accents, to add floral notes to winter fragrances and to create light, transparent and easy-to-wear scents for everyday use. Besides personal fragrances, it is incorporated into perfume sprays for freshening clothes and fabrics, and into compositions for scenting rooms and candles with herbal and floral notes. It is also valued in aromatherapy compositions with a calming and balancing effect, which impart a feeling of cleanliness and lightness.

Storage

Store organic mountain chamomile essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging and, as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
