Description

We present organic carrot seed hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the plant Daucus carota. In international trade, the distillate is offered under the name Carrot Seed organic hydrolate for perfumery. The plants grow under organic cultivation, as the crops are maintained without artificial support throughout their entire development cycle. The composition of the distillate includes only the substances derived from the processed seed mass of the plant. Preservatives and colorants are kept out of the product. The Apiaceae family includes the plant species from which the raw material for this extraction originates. The fruit of the plant is a schizocarp and at maturity splits into ribbed single-seeded parts, while the volatile compounds remain in the secretory canals of the pericarp. It is the seeds that enter the extraction as the only raw material. Extraction is carried out by steam distillation of the seeds. Steam extraction determines the purity of the earthy profile, while the seed part accounts for the light red nuance that the liquid retains in its finished form. The scent remains at a medium level and combines an earthy, warm and slightly sweet side in its overall aromatic development. The color ranges from colorless to slightly red. The consistency remains liquid, and the mass stays uniform and clear throughout its entire depth in the finished distillate. The plantations are located on the territory of Turkey. It is used in the development of men's essences and evening compositions, in which its natural origin emphasizes the authenticity of the fragrance. Thanks to its rich profile, it is a preferred choice for formulas seeking warmth, depth and coziness, and it also complements essences with a vetiver or patchouli accent for a complete, enveloping finish.

Storage

Store organic carrot seed hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
