Description

Our natural carrot seed hydrolate for detergents is obtained from the plant Daucus carota. It is offered under the name Carrot Seed natural hydrolate for detergents. The species belongs to the Apiaceae family, and the fruits provide the raw material for the distillate. The seeds remain the only processed part and carry the entire aromatic substance of the plant. Steam distillation is behind the extraction, which is why mainly the volatile substances of the seeds enter the liquid and the earthy tone is preserved in the finished distillate. The medium strength of the scent is evident in the finished distillate. The earthy and the warm sides shape the aromatic character, and the light sweet tone completes it in the finished product. The color ranges from colorless to slightly red. The seed origin of the raw material accounts for the reddish tint of the finished liquid and links the color to the processed part. The distillate remains a clear and uniform liquid. The plantations in Turkey supply the raw material, while cultivation follows a natural course without artificial support and without additional agents. The natural origin of the composition is due to cultivation in which no foreign substances reach the plants and nothing external is added. Colorants and preservatives are absent from the distillate. The fruit has the structure of a schizocarp and at maturity yields ribbed mericarps, each of which contains one seed. The monoterpene part of the species includes pinene, sabinene and geranyl acetate, which participate in building the aromatic profile of the raw material. Since extraction takes place exclusively with steam and the raw material comprises only seeds, the finished liquid carries the earthy tone of the original material. In the finished distillate, the carrot shows itself through its earthy tone, the moderate strength of its scent and its pale red tint.

Carrot seed hydrolate is used in detergents for home maintenance, contributing to a pleasant and delicate scent of cleaning formulas. It is used in surface cleaners, furniture care solutions and room freshening sprays, as well as in glass and tile cleaning products. Carrot seed hydrolate is also included in floor cleaning liquids, solutions for kitchen and bathroom surfaces, degreasers and limescale removal compositions. It is suitable for mirror sprays, grout solutions and disinfection of kitchen countertops, as well as for sanitary room products and polishing products for metal and ceramic surfaces. It is also used in dishwashing solutions, air fresheners and care products for stone and terracotta floors, giving each product a soft, natural note.

Storage

Store natural carrot seed hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for detergent products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
