The species belongs to the Apiaceae family, and the fruits are used for the extraction. Behind this name is a clear liquid whose color varies from colorless to pale yellow. The color range remains narrow due to the low presence of coloring compounds. The same restraint is evident in the scent, which is of medium strength and combines a herbal base with a floral continuation in the background. The floral continuation remains delicate, while the herbal base holds the leading place. The herbal base comes entirely from the plant raw material, because the composition of the liquid is natural. The composition is a colloidal system in which distilled water forms the continuous medium, while the dissolved oxygen-containing compounds form the dispersed phase throughout the volume of the liquid. No preservatives or colorants enter this system, which is why every constituent originates from the plant. The plant produces a fruit, which is the only part used in the extraction. The fruit ripens in plantations on the territory of Bulgaria, whose cultivation proceeds naturally and excludes synthetic agents and mineral fertilization. The conditions in these plantations leave the volatile substances of the fruit in their natural ratio.
