Description
We offer natural Scots pine hydrolate for perfumery, obtained from the plant Pinus sylvestris. The liquid is known as White Pine natural hydrolate for perfumery. It unites the water and the light part of the volatile substances of the coniferous raw material. The volatile substances make up the entire composition of the liquid, which is entirely natural. The composition remains free of added preservatives and colorants, so the aqueous phase contains only those substances that originate from the coniferous plant raw material. The absence of added substances leaves the olfactory picture entirely dependent on the raw material, as the water carries only its own volatile constituents. These volatile constituents build a fresh herbal fragrance of medium strength. The medium strength keeps the herbal note clearly defined, while its freshness lends lightness at the beginning of the olfactory profile. The liquid consistency and the color ranging from colorless to pale yellow complete the sensory picture of this aqueous distillate, whose transparency is maintained throughout the volume. The aqueous distillate comes from the needles, whose tissue is traversed by resin canals where the plant collects its volatile substances. The plant belongs to the Pinaceae family and keeps its needles throughout the year. The raw material for this distillate originates from Bulgaria, where it is cultivated naturally, which is why the needles retain their natural composition unchanged. The unchanged raw material ensures a pure and even fragrance of the finished liquid. Steam distillation supports this purity, because only the light soluble constituents of the needles pass into the water, while the heavy resin parts remain aside. The pure fragrance of Scots pine remains recognizable in the clear liquid. The resin canals of the needles remain the source of the entire fragrance in this natural aqueous distillate.
Application
The fresh forest character of Scots pine hydrolate makes it suitable both as a base and as a complementary note in the development of fragrance compositions and eaux de toilette, where it adds a green scent and a sense of a coniferous forest. In niche and boutique perfumery, it takes part in compositions with a woody, citrus or floral character and lends natural depth to women's, men's and unisex fragrances. It is suitable for scented oils and creams designed to maintain a discreet scent throughout the day, as well as for refreshing face and body mists with a light and clean effect. It is used to create fragrant body sprays and hair sprays that leave a fine pine trail. It is also used in home fragrance, being included in interior sprays, fresheners and formulas for scenting textiles and accessories. Creators of seasonal collections use it in summer compositions with a refreshing character and in winter blends with a rich woody profile. It blends harmoniously with citrus, green and floral notes, which allows the creation of balanced formulas for everyday use and special occasions.
