Description
We offer organic thyme essential oil for detergents, obtained from the species Thymus vulgaris L. The liquid bears the name Thyme organic essential oil for detergents. The species belongs to the family Lamiaceae and is cultivated in Bulgaria under an organic regime. Bulgaria lies in the southeastern part of the European range, where members of the family thrive in warm and open places typical of the southern half of the continent. The open places allow essential oil to accumulate in the aboveground stalk, which serves as the sole raw material. The stalk undergoes steam distillation, which is why only the pure volatile substances pass into the liquid. The purity of the volatile substances, together with the care in the plantations, shapes the main advantages of the organic product offered. The advantages are complemented by the gentle extraction method and by the choice of suitable areas. The care for the plantations shows in the rich aroma, which remains strong and full. The aroma combines sweet warmth with a spicy note and a light citrus tone. The tone of the fragrance runs parallel to the colour, which shifts from yellow-brown to red-brown. The colour comes from the stalk, in which the colouring compounds coexist with the volatile constituents. The constituents remain dissolved in the liquid throughout its entire volume. The liquid takes on an entirely organic composition, because the plantations are maintained without synthetic fertilisers and without chemical protection agents in the field. The composition comprises only the essential oil of the plant, without preservatives and without colourants. The mobile and liquid form is characteristic of organic thyme oil.

Application
Thyme essential oil is used in the production of cleaning detergents, where it is valued for its pronounced antimicrobial and antiseptic action. It is used to create organic disinfectants, household antiseptic blends, all-purpose cleaning solutions and concentrates for floor coverings, as well as to enrich formulas against bacteria and fungi and sprays against mould and mildew. The oil is included in products for cleaning kitchens, worktops, appliances, refrigerators and freezers, food-contact surfaces, bathrooms, toilets and sanitary rooms with an antimicrobial effect. It is applied for disinfecting floor coverings, handles, switches and frequently touched surfaces, and for hygiene in offices and public buildings, gyms and fitness equipment. The oil enriches cleaning hand gels, wipes with an antiseptic effect, wet travel wipes and formulas for cleaning instruments and personal hygiene accessories. It is also incorporated into fabric softeners and washing powders with a disinfecting action, cleaning tablets for dishwashers and products for cleaning washing machines. It is also used in cleaning children's furniture and toys, wooden surfaces, shoes, sports equipment, bags and accessories, car interiors and pet areas, as well as in freshening curtains, blinds and textiles, removing odours from upholstered furniture and accumulated dirt, and creating eco-friendly cleaning products with an organic composition.

Storage

Store organic thyme essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for products for detergents, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
