In international practice, the product is designated as Thistle Organic Unrefined Carrier Oil. The species belongs to the family Asteraceae, the name of which is derived from the structure of the inflorescence, and in older botanical literature it is found in the form Compositae. The plantations are developed on arable land in Bulgaria, from where all the raw materials for the production of the product come. The management of these areas follows an organic regime, which excludes synthetic detergents for nourishing the soil and protecting young crops. The cultivation method predetermines the purity of the finished liquid, which reaches its final form pure, without preservatives or added colourants. The composition remains completely organic even in the finished form of the product. The seeds are used for extraction, and the natural pigments contained in them give the liquid a soft transition from colourless to a light yellow tone. The light tone comes precisely from the part used, because the seed coat carries a weak pigment of its own. The consistency remains liquid throughout the volume.
