Description
We offer natural sage absolute for perfumery, obtained from the plant Salvia sclarea. The product is known as Clary Sage natural absolute for perfumery. Under this name, a material is offered in which the extraction retains the complete volatile fraction of the harvested herb, as well as a lasting herbal trace in the fragrance. The trace rests on sclareol, a diterpene described in the scientific literature as a typical and well-studied compound in this botanical species from the herbal genera. The diterpene accumulates in the glandular covering. The covering determines the strength of the fragrance, as it retains the volatile substances of the plant right up to the harvest of the crops. The herbal tone leads the opening, while the soft sweetness catches up with it toward the middle of the olfactory picture. The picture concludes calmly and without an abrupt transition. The material that carries this olfactory picture shows a dense oily structure and a completely uniform color between light yellow and deep amber without transition. The color is owed precisely to the harvested aerial mass and remains the same throughout the entire depth of the volume. The density comes from the slower molecules of the raw material. The harvested mass comes from Bulgarian crops in the southern and northeastern plains of the country, where the soils remain light and well sunlit. Harvesting begins at the onset of flowering, when the glandular covering on the stalk reaches its greatest seasonal fullness. The crops grow under a natural regime, and chemical agents are not used in the cultivation of the fields. The species belongs to the Lamiaceae family, where the two-lipped corolla remains a recognizable feature of the herbal genera. The natural regime also determines the composition of the finished absolute, which contains no preservatives, colorants or other substances foreign to the raw material.
Application
Natural sage absolute is widely used in building perfume compositions, to which it imparts a warm herbal character with a woody and green nuance. It is used in eaux de toilette and fragrance oils, where it adds a soft botanical depth and extends the longevity of the fragrance on the skin. In niche and boutique formulas, it serves as an expressive note that lends authenticity and a smooth transition between the individual fragrance levels. It is suitable for solid perfumes and concentrates with a long-lasting sillage, as well as for body and hair fragrance sprays with a fine grassy accord. Added to candles and diffusers, it spreads an elegant herbal breath that fills the space with a sense of sophistication. It also finds a place in sprays for clothing and bed linen, on which it leaves a delicate and lasting fragrance trace. As a fixative, it harmonizes the volatile ingredients and brings balance to the entire composition, which is why it is valued in formulas with woody, green and amber directions. It blends well with citrus, floral and spicy accords, adding a natural complexity that is difficult to achieve with synthetic materials, and allows the creation of products with a recognizable and lasting fragrance signature.
Storage
Store natural sage absolute in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit air access, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the absolute from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
Attention !!!
Please use natural sage absolute in accordance with the described instructions and follow the safety recommendations. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use of the absolute if an allergic reaction such as redness or irritation occurs. We recommend performing an allergy test before use.
