Our natural sage absolute for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. In international practice, the product is designated as Clary Sage natural absolute for aromatherapy. The plant belongs to the family Lamiaceae, which unites aromatic herbal genera with two-lipped corollas and a rich glandular covering on the aerial parts. The glandular covering on the calyces and flower stalks retains the volatile substances of the species. The crops develop in the plains of Southern and Northeastern Bulgaria, where the summer remains warm and dry until the very end of the growing season. The agrotechnology applied to them excludes synthetic fertilizers and stimulants for accelerated growth. Natural agrotechnology maintains the dense glandular covering. The harvest yields the stalk, whose volatile substances form an intensity between medium and strong and give the finished absolute a clearly recognisable herbal character. The herbal tone opens the olfactory picture, and the soft sweetness rounds it off towards the middle. The sweetness passes into notes of flowers, perceptible at the very end of the fragrance. Storage

Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the absolute from light.
