Description

We offer natural rosehip hydrolate for drinks, obtained from the fruit of the plant Rosa canina. In international practice, the distillate goes by the name Rosehip natural hydrolate for drinks. The extraction relies on steam, which is why the fresh and sweet facets of the profile remain clear and persistent throughout the product. The species belongs to the Rosaceae family and grows on Bulgarian land. The aroma holds strong, and the fresh, sweet and rich facets are clearly perceptible in it. The crop grows naturally. For this reason, the composition is limited to the substances of the fruit, comes without preservatives and without colorants, and preserves its fruity simplicity to the end. The raw material is provided by the ripened fruit, whose fleshy hypanthium envelops a cluster of the true fruitlets and carries the main fruity fullness of the resulting extract and of its character. The color remains between colorless and a light red tone of the liquid. The product is a clear and transparent liquid. The liquid part retains mostly water-soluble volatile substances, including alcohols and esters, which is why the scent of the distillate comes through cleanly. The inner wall of the hypanthium is lined with short stiff hairs, which stay apart from the finished liquid and from its final appearance. The fleshy envelope around the fruitlets provides carotenoids, tocopherols and phenolic compounds. Since the extract derives from the fleshy envelope of the fruit, the light red tone goes hand in hand with the origin of the starting raw material and with its structure. In addition, the liquid preserves its fruity line to the end. Natural rosehip hydrolate remains close to its fruit and to the Bulgarian field.

It is also used in vitamin formulas for daily use, hydrating mixes for athletes and fruit cocktails for invigoration. It is suitable for carbonated formulas with a mild taste, refreshing summer teas and tonifying mixes after physical activity, in which the characteristic flavor of rosehip is valued.

Storage

Store natural rosehip fruit hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for drink products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for drinks from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
