Description

We offer natural rosehip hydrolate for cosmetics, obtained from the fruit of the plant Rosa canina. In international practice, the distillate bears the name Rosehip natural hydrolate for cosmetics. The raw material is the ripe fruit, which structurally is a fleshy hypanthium enclosing a cluster of the true fruitlets of the species. The plants are cared for naturally. Owing to this care, the composition is limited to the substances of the fruit and comes without preservatives and without colorants, while its fruity simplicity is evident. Steam distillation shapes the purity of the profile, which is why the sweet and fresh facets of the scent remain clear throughout the liquid of the product. The aroma is strong, and the fresh, sweet and rich facets intertwine into one. Botanically, the species belongs to the Rosaceae family, and the fruits grow on Bulgarian land. The aqueous part retains mainly the soluble volatile compounds, among them alcohols and esters, so the profile of the liquid remains light and clearly defined. The color starts from colorless and reaches slightly red. Since the extract comes from the fleshy part of the fruit, the light red hue follows the natural appearance of the original fruit raw material in the liquid. The product remains a clear and homogeneous liquid. The inner wall of the hypanthium is covered with short stiff hairs, which remain apart from the finished liquid and its appearance. The fleshy part of the fruit carries carotenoids, tocopherols and phenolic compounds. In addition, the distillate preserves its fruity basis. It is suitable for rejuvenating face fluids, revitalizing skin oils and firming eye contour creams. The hydrolate finds application in nourishing lip balms, refreshing face mists and restorative night care creams. It is also used in strengthening hair masks, soothing lotions for sensitive skin and moisturizing face sprays. It is suitable for rejuvenating serums for mature skin, revitalizing body gels and softening cleansing milks, in which the refreshing effect of the rosehip fruit is appreciated.

Storage

Store natural rosehip fruit hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably dark glass, which protect the cosmetic hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
