Description

Our natural rosehip hydrolate for aromatherapy originates from the species Rosa canina. Internationally, the product is designated as Rosehip natural hydrolate for aromatherapy. The species belongs to the Rosaceae family, and the fruits are harvested in Bulgaria. The ripe fruit, which is structurally a false fruit, that is, a fleshy hypanthium surrounding a cluster of the true fruitlets of the species, is used for distillation. The product is obtained by steam distillation, and this gentle method keeps the sweet freshness of the aroma intact and clearly expressed in the finished liquid. The aroma is strong and combines fresh, sweet and rich facets. Since mainly the water-soluble volatile compounds, including alcohols and esters, pass into the aqueous phase, the profile of the distillate remains light and clean. The color ranges from colorless to slightly red, and this hue is due to the fruit that provides the extract of the product. In appearance, the product is a clear liquid. The plants are grown naturally, which is why the composition comes without preservatives and without colorants, while the fruity simplicity is evident in the liquid. The inner wall of the hypanthium bears short stiff hairs, which remain outside the extract and leave the appearance of the liquid clean and even. The fleshy part of the fruit contains carotenoids, tocopherols and phenolic compounds. In addition, the raw material comes from the whole ripe fruit. It is precisely the connection between the fleshy raw material and the gentle extraction that explains why the scent of the liquid remains strong and clearly defined throughout the profile. Storage

Store natural rosehip fruit hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably dark glass, which protect the aromatherapy hydrolate from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
