Description

We present natural rosehip fruit hydrolate for animals, obtained from the fruit of the species Rosa canina. The distillate is known as Rosehip natural hydrolate for animals. The fruit plantations are tended naturally, and therefore the liquid carries only the substances of the fruit, without preservatives and without colorants in the final composition. The Rosaceae family includes the species, and the fruits ripen on Bulgarian land. Steam distillation lies at the basis of the product, which is why its sweet and fresh tone remains pure and clear throughout the liquid. The ripe fruit is used for the extraction, in which the fleshy hypanthium encloses a cluster of the true fruitlets and gives the extract its fruity fullness. The aroma retains a strong intensity and encompasses a fresh, sweet and rich side. The color varies between colorless and a light red tone. Since the liquid originates from the fleshy fruit, its light color follows the fruit structure of the raw material and remains within its light range. The distillate is a clear and pure liquid. Short stiff hairs line the inner wall of the hypanthium, while the finished liquid remains pure and uniform in appearance. The fleshy tissue of the fruit retains carotenoids, tocopherols and phenolic compounds. The aqueous part takes up mainly the volatile substances with good solubility, among them alcohols and esters, and the profile of the distillate remains light and clear. In addition, the hydrolate retains its fruity signature. The hydrolate is used in protective lotions for cold weather, coat deodorizing sprays and cleansing wipes. It is also used in after-bath lotions, refreshing cage sprays and balms for sensitive skin. It is suitable for lotions that maintain skin elasticity, post-grooming sprays and care products for small animals with sensitive skin.

Storage

Store natural rosehip fruit hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for animal products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for animals from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
