Description
Our natural Mursal tea wax for cosmetics is obtained from the species Sideritis scardica. Outside the country, the product bears the name Mursal Tea natural wax for cosmetics. The species belongs to the Lamiaceae family and grows on open rocky slopes in the high parts of the Balkan Peninsula, which determines its limited natural range. The family unites a large proportion of aromatic herbs, whose volatile substances accumulate in the aerial organs and give them their characteristic strong scent. The aerial parts serve as the raw material, and the plantations are cultivated in Bulgaria under a natural regime that excludes synthetic auxiliary agents. The natural regime leaves the composition pure, since no substances from outside the plant source enter it. The composition remains completely natural, and preservatives and colorants are absent from it. The absence of colorants means that the light yellow to light brown tone comes solely from the aerial parts used and their natural pigments. The tone accompanies a solid and dense consistency that retains the volatile substances in a homogeneous mass. The mass releases a rich fragrance in which freshness and mountain nuances of considerable strength stand out. The strength of the fragrance is preserved thanks to wax extraction, which transfers the volatile constituents into the final material without changing their character. The material comes from a single region, which maintains a uniform sensory profile throughout the entire volume and links the tone with its aromatic characteristics. In addition, Mursal tea wax retains its solid structure, while the dense form holds the aromatic substances. The structure carries a large amount of aromatic constituents in a small volume. The amount of volatile constituents determines the richness of the profile in the finished material.
Application
Natural Mursal tea wax is used as a structuring base in the creation of a variety of cosmetic products for skin, lip and hair care. Its dense consistency makes it a suitable component for solid balms, lipsticks, richly textured creams, nourishing masks and compact emulsions, where it imparts a stable form and a protective layer on the skin. The wax combines well with vegetable oils, shea butter and cocoa butter, which expands the possibilities for making nourishing and protective formulas. In decorative cosmetics, it is used in foundations, highlighters and cream eyeshadows, since it binds pigments and powders and ensures even distribution on the skin. In hair care, it is incorporated into leave-in conditioners, masks and styling products with a strengthening action, where it imparts softness and facilitates styling. Thanks to its even melting and easy mixing with the other ingredients, the raw material is convenient both for artisanal production of small batches and for production in larger quantities. The wax imparts a silky feel on application and helps maintain smooth and well-protected skin, which makes it a valuable choice for craftsmen and manufacturers of natural care products.
Storage
Store natural Mursal tea wax in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +10°C to +25°C to preserve the solid consistency and quality. After opening, limit air access and isolate the product from external odors, which the wax readily absorbs. Use only aluminum or glass containers, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the wax from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
