Our organic German chamomile essential oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. In international practice, the product is referred to as Chamomile German organic essential oil for aromatherapy. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family and grows as an annual herbaceous crop with small inflorescences gathered in characteristic flower heads. The flower heads unite yellow tubular florets surrounded at the periphery by a ring of white ray florets, and it is precisely they that provide the raw material for extraction. The flowers come from plantations in Bulgaria. Bulgaria maintains a long-standing tradition in the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants, and the plantations here are managed according to organic rules without synthetic detergents. The organic rules limit external substances in the raw material, which is why the composition of the oil remains pure. The pure base takes the form of a clear liquid with a colour between colourless and pale yellow. The pale yellow tint comes from the tubular florets, which released their faint colour during distillation. Steam distillation carries over only the volatile constituents of the flowers, so the fragrance retains purity and fidelity to the natural profile of the raw material. Storage

After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for aromatherapy from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
