We offer natural German chamomile essential oil for cosmetics, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Matricaria chamomilla. The product bears the name Chamomile German natural essential oil for cosmetics in international practice. The consistency of the oil remains liquid, and the colour varies from colourless to pale yellow. The pale yellow shade comes from the flowers, as they give the liquid its light colour range. The light colour range accompanies a delicate scent in which sweet and warm tones can be detected. The gentle strength of the scent comes from steam distillation, which gives the product a clear olfactory characteristic and preserves its volatile profile in full. Distillation of flowers remains the recognised method for obtaining such an oil from plants of the family Asteraceae. The plant of this family collects its volatile substances in the flower heads, and the harvest for the product comes entirely from the fields of Bulgaria. Bulgaria provides conditions for natural cultivation, which determines the entirely natural character of the composition. Without preservatives and without colourants, the composition retains the sesquiterpenes characteristic of this botanical species. The sesquiterpenes sustain the sweet shade that accompanies the warmth of the scent. Application

It is incorporated into creams, serums and lotions for the face and body with a soothing and hydrating effect, into products for restoring the skin barrier in dry and irritation-prone skin and into hydrating and protective formulas for the winter months. The oil is present in masks with antiseptic and soothing action for skin with inflammation, acne, eczema, dermatitis and rosacea, in cleansing milks, cleansing gels and toners for delicate skin and in products with gentle exfoliating ingredients. It is applied in lip balms, hand and foot creams, eye area gels for puffiness and dark circles, décolleté and neck creams, nail and cuticle masks and products for a sensitive scalp such as shampoos and hair masks. Chamomile is used for care after sun exposure, shaving, epilation and cosmetic procedures, for superficial irritations, mild burns, rashes and allergic reactions, as well as for refreshing the skin after a cold or flu. Storage

Store natural German chamomile essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the container, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for cosmetics from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
