Description
We offer a natural geranium root hydrolate for pharmaceuticals, extracted from the species Geranium macrorrhizum. In international practice, the hydrolate is designated as Geranium Root natural hydrolate for pharmaceuticals. The root material leaves pale yellow to greenish shades in the liquid, which remain the same throughout the volume. The product is presented as a clear liquid with a uniform body. The underground organ develops as a fleshy rhizome with a creeping course along the soil, and it is precisely from it that the raw material for the entire extraction comes. The herbal character is accompanied by a warm tone and a light sweetness. The steam distillation method links the raw material with the soft aromatic result and keeps the profile pure. The plantations are tended naturally in Bulgaria, since only in this way is the composition built solely from the substances of the raw material itself. The aqueous phase and volatile constituents from the underground mass make up the entire composition, while preservatives and colorants are absent from it. The strength of the aroma stays within soft values. The volatile part of the underground mass contains mainly elemenone, globulol and guaiene, which gives the distillate a warm herbal direction with a light sweet finish. Botanically, the species belongs to the Geraniaceae family. The chemotype picture of the plant includes lines with citronellol and geraniol, alongside those in which sesquiterpene ketones and their derivatives lead. The root raw material explains the color range, while the production method shapes the purity of the aroma. The soft aromatic strength remains constant throughout the volume of the liquid. The finished geranium distillate carries a root origin, a clear appearance and a warm herbal tone.
