We present natural geranium absolute for cosmetics, obtained from the species Geranium macrorrhizum. In international practice, the product is designated as Geranium natural absolute. The designation covers an oily material with a dense texture, whose color ranges from light yellow to amber and remains uniform throughout the entire depth of the volume. The color derives precisely from the substances of the root used for the extraction. The root also carries the floral character, which unfolds with medium to strong intensity and gives the product a recognizable olfactory profile. The intensity opens in a fresh direction, while the soft sweetness remains perceptible longer than the fresh opening tone. The sweet side belongs to a composition of exclusively natural ingredients. The composition contains no preservatives or colorants, since the extraction transfers only what the underground part already contains. The extraction preserves the fresh side of the aroma and gives the absolute its full olfactory pattern. The pattern originates from raw material collected in Bulgaria on rocky slopes and shady mountain sites, where the species occurs in its natural state. The plantings there grow under natural cultivation, while fertilizers of synthetic origin and stimulants are excluded. The soil beneath them remains free of chemical agents. The free soil allows the species to develop its full range of volatile substances, and it belongs to the Geraniaceae family together with closely related herbaceous genera. Storage

Store natural geranium absolute in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit air access, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for cosmetic products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the absolute from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering.
