Description
Our organic clary sage essential oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. In international practice the product is designated as Clary Sage organic essential oil for aromatherapy. The plant belongs to the family Lamiaceae and grows in the temperate climate zone, which also includes Bulgaria, where all the raw material for the product comes from. Bulgaria provides the harvest of a biennial herbaceous crop with coarsely hairy stems, grown according to organic rules. The crop provides the aboveground stalk, which enters the extraction in a flowering state. The extraction passes through steam distillation, so the volatile carriers of the scent pass into the finished product with pronounced purity and clearly defined freshness. The freshness combines with a slightly sweet nuance in the overall olfactory profile. The olfactory profile reaches medium to strong intensity. The intensity goes together with a homogeneous liquid consistency and a colourless to pale yellowish appearance. The oil carries in itself only the material of the stalk, which builds its entire composition and determines both its appearance and its olfactory profile. Storage

Store organic clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for aromatherapy from light.
