Description
Our organic clary sage essential oil for aromatherapy from Ukraine is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. In international practice, the product is designated as Clary Sage organic essential oil for aromatherapy. The species belongs to the Lamiaceae family, whose herbaceous representatives form glandular hairs on the calyces of the inflorescences, which preserve the aromatic substance. The calyces carry the densest arrangement of glands in the aboveground plant material. The aboveground plant material is gathered in the stalk, which serves for extraction and combines both the flower part and the leaf part. The stalk ripens in fields in Ukraine, where the temperate climate supports the accumulation of volatile substances in the tissues of the crop. The crop develops as a biennial or perennial herbaceous form with a tall flower spike. The volatile substances define the aromatic profile, which combines freshness, light sweetness and warmth. The profile unfolds gradually, and steam distillation preserves its purity. Distillation yields a mobile liquid with a uniform structure. The liquid takes on a pale yellowish tone, which derives from the pigments of the stalk used, as the green parts release only weak colouring power in steam. The stalk comes from organically grown plantations, which is why the composition remains entirely organic. In addition, the liquid is free of preservatives and colourants. The absence of supplements keeps the oil's own volatile constituents in the foreground, and it is precisely they that carry its recognisable character. Storage

Store organic clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for aromatherapy products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for aromatherapy from light.
