Description
Our organic clary sage essential oil for animals from Ukraine is obtained from the aboveground part of the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. The product bears the name Clary Sage organic essential oil for animals. The plant belongs to the Lamiaceae family, whose members have glandular hairs covering the calyces, bracts and upper leaves of the inflorescence. The hairs take up the essential substance and hold it beneath the cuticle until extraction. The substance is distributed throughout the aboveground plant material, namely the stalk unites the flowers, leaves and stalks of the crop into a single whole. The stalk ripens on Ukrainian fields, whose temperate climate supports the growth of this biennial to perennial herbaceous crop. The crop is grown organically, as the farming behind it excludes synthetic auxiliary agents on the fields. Cultivation without such agents preserves the natural character of the raw material, while steam distillation preserves the purity of the fragrance and its close-to-the-plant character. Distillation carries over only the volatile molecules, which is why the aromatic profile remains clean and even. The profile rests on an entirely organic composition. Storage

Store organic clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for animal products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for animals from light.
