Description
Our natural clary sage essential oil for pharmaceuticals is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. The product bears the name Clary Sage natural essential oil for pharmaceuticals. The oil presents itself as a mobile liquid with a light pale tint. The tint shifts within the range between colourless and pale yellowish. The faint colouring comes from the aboveground part of the plant, whose volatile components leave the glands while the pigments remain in the tissue of the green stalk. The aroma shows a medium to strong intensity with a fresh base and a slight sweetness. The base passes into a floral-fruity direction, which remains part of the olfactory profile. The profile is formed in the glandular formations of the species, which belongs to the family Lamiaceae. The formations cover the flowering stalk, and it remains the only plant part used for this product. The stalk for this product grows in Bulgaria, where the crop holds an established place among the essential oil species and is maintained in a natural way. The cultivation method brings the advantage of a raw material with a clearly defined geographical origin and with a uniform botanical source in each individual plantation. Steam distillation retains in the liquid only the volatile components of the stalk, therefore the scent remains pure and complete. The pure scent of clary sage goes together with the light tint and with the liquid form characteristic of this product. Storage

Store natural clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C in order to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for pharmaceutical products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for pharmaceuticals from light.
