Description
We present natural clary sage essential oil for detergents, obtained from the species Salvia sclarea. In international practice the oil is designated as Clary Sage natural essential oil for detergents. The plant belongs to the family Lamiaceae and develops a glandular apparatus on its flowering tops. The glandular apparatus concentrates the aromatic substances in the stalk, which serves as the raw material for obtaining the product. The raw material comes from Bulgaria, where the species holds a lasting place among industrial crops and is grown in a natural way in open fields. The product takes the form of a mobile liquid with a light tone. The tone varies from colourless to pale yellowish. The light range comes from the flowering stalk, whose volatile compounds pass into the oil, while the coloured substances of the plant tissue remain outside it. The aroma reaches a medium to strong degree, combining a fresh note with slight sweetness and a floral-fruity finish. At the same time the finish belongs entirely to the raw material itself and outlines the advantage of a single botanical source. The advantage is complemented by steam distillation, in which only the volatile part of the stalk enters the oil and the aroma retains its purity. The purity of the aroma goes together with the light tone and the uniform liquid form of clary sage. The form contains a fully natural composition without added preservatives. Colourants remain aside, since the plant origin of every ingredient follows from the natural cultivation method. The composition comes from one plant and from one aboveground part.

Storage

Store natural clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for products for detergents, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for detergents from light.
