Description
We offer natural clary sage essential oil for animals, obtained from the plant with the botanical name Salvia sclarea. The oil is known as Clary Sage natural essential oil for animals. Its composition covers only the substances of the plant raw material and remains free of added preservatives. Colourants are absent from it, because the natural cultivation of the species keeps the entire composition within plant limits. Moreover, these limits are also visible in the light appearance of the liquid. The liquid stands between colourless and pale yellowish in its tone. The tone depends on the aboveground part used, which releases volatile compounds, while the pigments of the leaf mass remain in the tissue of the green stalk. The consistency remains liquid and fluid throughout the entire volume. The aroma occupies a medium to strong level and combines a fresh note, a light sweetness and a floral-fruity finish. The fullness of the finish is due to the steam distillation, which separates from the stalk only its volatile part and preserves the purity of the scent. The pure scent carries the advantage of a raw material with a single botanical source and a clearly defined growing area within the country. The advantage is complemented by the single plant part used, which gives the oil both its full aromatic profile and its light tone. The aromatic profile is formed in the glandular hairs of the species from the family Lamiaceae. The glandular hairs develop on the flowering stalk of clary sage grown in Bulgaria. Cultivation in the country holds an established place among the industrial essential oil crops.

Application

Storage

Store natural clary sage essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature from +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and when the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for animal products, preferably of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for animals from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
