Description
Our organic mountain chamomile essential oil for drinks is obtained from the species Matricaria chamomilla. The oil bears the name Chamomile Wild organic essential oil for drinks. The liquid consistency carries a rich scent in which freshness intertwines with a light spiciness and a warm base. The spiciness and freshness complement each other and shape the overall olfactory profile of the product. The profile belongs to a liquid with a pale blue to greyish-green tone, the source of which is chamazulene, formed from matricine in the flowers during the extraction itself. The tone remains the only colouring of the liquid, as the product accepts no added colourants. The composition includes only organic plant raw material and remains free of preservatives of external origin. The purity of the composition stems from organic cultivation, in which no synthetic fertilisers or auxiliary detergents reach the crops throughout the entire season. Cultivation takes place in Bulgaria, where the plantations occupy open arable land. The Bulgarian land provides raw material from only one botanical species. The plant from this land belongs to the Asteraceae family and accumulates the volatile constituents in the glandular hairs on its flower heads during the flowering period. Only the flowers from these flower heads are used for the extraction. The flowers undergo steam distillation, and thus the aromatic profile fully retains the pure character of the original plant raw material. The pure profile goes hand in hand with the rich strength of the scent and the entirely organic origin of the product. In addition, the liquid retains a uniform appearance throughout its entire volume.

Application
Organic mountain chamomile essential oil is used in drinks as a flavouring ingredient with a delicate floral, slightly sweet and herbal character. It is added to herbal teas and blends with calming and balancing properties, to cold and hot drinks, as well as to water infusions and flavoured waters for refreshment. It finds application in refreshing and homemade lemonades, in fresh fruit juices, shakes and mixes, to which it gives a soft floral profile. It is used in non-alcoholic cocktails with relaxing notes, in fruit punches, in minty and citrus drinks, as well as in carbonated drinks. It is added to special herbal syrups and concentrates for dilution, for flavouring and for enriching coffee with a light floral nuance. It is used in detox drinks, in mixes for hydration and recovery, in sports and energy drinks, as well as in warming offerings for the winter season and in warm-weather drinks with herbal extracts. It also has a place in plant-based milks and milk drinks with a light floral taste, in mild-tasting drinks for children, in drinks for improving sleep and overcoming stress, as well as in refreshing and relaxing drinks for spa centres with an aromatherapeutic effect.

Storage

Store organic mountain chamomile essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for drink products, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for drinks from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
