Description
We present organic unrefined arnica carrier oil for foods, which is obtained from the flowers of the plant with the botanical name Arnica montana. The product is known as Arnica organic unrefined carrier oil for food. Its composition is completely organic and does not include preservatives or colourants. The purity of the composition derives from the method of cultivation, which excludes synthetic detergents in the care of the plantations and preserves the natural content of the flowers. The plants are grown in Bulgaria, which supplies all the raw material for the product. The plant belongs to the family Asteraceae, the inflorescence of which combines outer ray florets and an inner section of numerous small tubular florets packed closely together. The flowers are used for the extraction, and the pigments contained in them determine the color transition from colorless to yellow-gold. The consistency remains thin, allowing the liquid to spread evenly. The aroma is herbal and slightly bitter, with woody notes in the background. The fragrance strength ranges between weak and moderate, and the reason for this is cold pressing, where the raw material is processed mechanically and without heat. The mechanical pressure preserves the natural profile of the flowers and thus the purity of the olfactory characteristic. In addition, the absence of refining leaves the color and fragrance close to the original state of the raw material. The light tone and the herbal note appear together as they come from the same part of the plant used. Arnica oil retains the bitter herbal note of its flowers. The liquid remains light in colour, fluid and herbal in character. The finished product contains only ingredients of plant origin.

Application
Arnica oil, obtained by cold pressing from the flowers of the plant and left unrefined, finds application in the food sector, where its natural character and fine herbal profile with delicate bitter and woody undertones are valued. It is added to cold dressings, marinades, creamy sauces and salad dressings, enriching the final taste without dominating the other ingredients. In healthy and functional cooking, it is included in the preparation of cold-pressed mixtures and dietary products, where its unrefined quality ensures the preservation of natural bioactive substances. It is also traditionally used to enrich cold culinary products intended for specialized diets and regimens. The mild to moderate aroma and mild flavor profile make it convenient to combine with a wide range of plant oils, herbs and organic extracts. It is suitable for use in culinary blends prepared without heating and fortified products, provided the manufacturer has assessed the specific intended use.

Storage

Store organic unrefined arnica carrier oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the container. As the contents decrease, transfer the remaining oil to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably dark glass, which protects the oil from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Following these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for longer.
