Description
We introduce natural unrefined arnica carrier oil for aromatherapy, extracted from the flowers of a plant with the botanical name Arnica montana. The oil has the designation Arnica natural unrefined carrier oil for aromatherapy. Its consistency is naturally liquid, and the colour varies between colourless and golden yellow. The change is due to the pigment in the flowers used, as it passes into the product and determines its light appearance. The fragrance combines a herbal base, light bitterness and woody notes in depth. The intensity of the fragrance remains subdued and ranges between weak and moderate at any given amount. The subdued nature of the scent comes from the cold pressing, where the pressure separates the raw material without heating and leaves the scent of the flowers unchanged. The product of such pressing is also called virgin oil. The purity of the composition is complete, and preservatives and dyes are absent. The natural mode of cultivation maintains this purity on the plantations in Bulgaria. The plant belongs to the Asteraceae family, whose representatives bear an inflorescence with outer ray florets and an inner section of small tubular florets. The family occupies the second place in the number of species among flowering plants and is second only to orchids, encompassing herbaceous plants, shrubs and trees. In addition, the absence of refining preserves the ratio between colour, fragrance and density as determined by the flowers used in their original state. The herbal note of arnica comes through most clearly, while the woody note remains in the background. The liquid retains its fluidity and light colour throughout its volume. All ingredients of the product are of plant origin.
Application
Arnica carrier oil is primarily used in aromatherapy and massage practices, where it is valued for its lightness and pleasant herbal aroma with delicate woody notes. It combines well with various essential oils and serves as an effective basis for massage mixtures designed for relaxation and recovery after physical exertion. Due to its low viscosity, it is easy to apply, absorbs quickly and does not leave a heavy feeling on the skin, making it a suitable choice for a full body massage. It is suitable for preparing post-sport care products, for relieving muscle tension and for evening relaxation rituals. In cosmetics, it is used as an ingredient in nourishing and restorative body formulas. It can be included in home spa procedures, in massage rituals for deep relaxation, as well as in products aimed at maintaining the softness and elasticity of the skin. Cold-pressed and left unrefined, it retains its full natural profile, making it a valuable raw material for anyone working with natural cosmetic formulations. It is suitable for use by therapists, small producers and lovers of natural cosmetics looking for authentic and minimally processed raw materials.
Storage
Store natural unrefined arnica carrier oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the container. As the contents decrease, transfer the remaining oil to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably dark glass, which protects the oil from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Following these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for longer.
