The tree belongs to the Rosaceae family, which also includes apple and pear, as well as raspberry and strawberry from gardens in the temperate zone. The plantations grow outdoors in Bulgaria and follow the natural rhythm of the season in the region. The kernel inside the stone is used to extract the entire quantity of oil.
