We present natural anise hydrolate for supplements, extracted from the fruit of the species Illicium Verum. The product reaches the international market under the name Aniseed natural hydrolat. The product has an entirely natural composition, free of preservatives and colorants. The composition combines distilled water and the oxygen-containing volatile compounds dissolved in it, which predominate over the hydrocarbon constituents in the volume of the aqueous distillate. The predominance of oxygen-containing compounds explains the soft development of the scent. The scent is of medium strength and rests on a herbal base, while the floral part joins only toward the end of the overall perception. The herbal base is carried by a clear liquid that lies between colorless and pale yellow when viewed in daylight. The pale coloration comes from the scarce presence of coloring substances. The coloring substances remain few, because the raw material is limited to the fruit of the plant. The fruit comes from plantations in Bulgaria, where cultivation follows a natural path and excludes synthetic agents and synthetic fertilizers.
