Description
Our organic unrefined sweet almond carrier oil for aromatherapy is extracted from the kernels of a tree with the botanical name Prunus dulcis. The product is named Sweet Almond organic unrefined carrier oil for aromatherapy. The tree belongs to the Rosaceae family, whose representatives mainly inhabit the northern temperate zone and reach different sizes, from a low shrub to a medium-sized tree. The plantations occupy areas in Bulgaria. Cultivation there follows an organic regime that keeps synthetic agents away from the growing areas and therefore determines the pure composition of the finished liquid. Preservatives and colourants are absent from the composition, and each ingredient in it originates only from a plant grown in an organic way. The kernels of the stone fruit are used for extraction. The pale pigment of the kernels passes into the finished liquid during separation and therefore the colour of the product remains between colourless and pale gold in each volume. The consistency remains liquid in each individual amount. The fragrance has a soft base, adds a slight sweetness and ends with a nutty note that stands at the back of the three sensations in the scent profile. Fragrance strength ranges from very weak to medium. The soft character comes from the cold pressing, as the pressure separates the oil mechanically and leaves the kernels unheated throughout the extraction. The oil from such an extraction carries the designation virgin in practice. The unrefined processing preserves the natural hues of the raw material, while the liquid remains clear and flows easily with each pouring of the finished product. The nutty note of sweet almond is perceived last. In addition, the unrefined character retains the pale appearance and the restrained fragrance. It is used to apply aromatic mixtures to the pulse points, in roll-on products and in aroma diffuser mixtures for home and professional use. Thanks to its neutral to very weak aroma, it combines easily with a wide range of essential oils, ensuring an even distribution of the active ingredients of the more potent essential oils before application to the skin. It is included in the production of massage oils, aromatic balms and body and hair care products, and its mild nature makes it suitable for all skin types, including delicate skin and children’s skin.

Storage

Store organic unrefined sweet almond carrier oil in a dark, cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the package, and as the contents decrease, pour the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably dark glass that protects the oil from light. Seal tightly after each use to keep out air and moisture. Compliance with these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
