Description
Our organic refined sweet almond carrier oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the kernels of the tree with the botanical name Prunus dulcis. In international practice, the product is designated as Sweet Almond organic refined carrier oil for aromatherapy. The tree belongs to the Rosaceae family, which is found predominantly in the northern temperate zone and includes shrubs, small and medium-sized trees. The plants are grown in Bulgaria using organic methods. The organic cultivation system excludes synthetic detergents and therefore leaves the composition of the product clean and without supplements from external sources. The purity of the composition is also evident in the fact that it does not include preservatives and dyes, and all ingredients are organic in origin. The kernels of the fruit are used for extraction. The kernels have a light colour that passes into the liquid, giving it a shade ranging from colourless to pale gold. The aroma remains soft, slightly sweet and nutty, and its strength ranges from very weak to medium throughout the volume of the liquid. The consistency is liquid and allows for even pouring. The mild fragrance takes shape during refining, when the oil separated from the kernels by pressing undergoes purification and deodorisation. Deodorisation takes place under heating and, together with bleaching, gives the liquid a light colour and higher stability. In addition, refining complements the light tone and soft olfactory picture of the liquid. The almond oil retains a nutty note in the background of the profile. The liquid remains clear and light in colour throughout its volume. All its ingredients come from plant raw materials.

Storage

Store organic refined sweet almond carrier oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the container. As the contents decrease, transfer the remaining oil to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles, preferably dark glass, which protects the oil from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Following these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for longer.
